All of these stories intrigue

All of these stories have a great voice and they all intrigue. There's enough story in each one to entertain but also make you pause for thought. Just how all short stories should be.

I was sad when I came to the end

Sheena Billet kindly sent me a copy of her book "Shifting Horizons", which is a compilation of short stories. I found it very easy to continue reading, thinking to myself "just one more story", more than once! Most of the stories were cleverly written, some with a little surprise at the end, others giving the reader insight into the different perspectives we sometimes have when we approach an event or person and make judgements before knowing all the facts. I enjoyed this book and was sad when I realised I'd come to the end.
